With his first camera, a Kodak-Instamatic, the essential Beat-Concerts in Cuxhaven were documented. Within the following years the enormous collection of photos, concert-posters, news-articles, records etc. was growing (a matter of course still holding everything until today).
1966 - 1969: summer-holidays in England, every year, close to London. Lots of concert-visits at the "Marquee-Club" (London-Wardour St.) and many photo-shots of the popular Bands of that time.
Since 1970 living in Hamburg: has visited many Rock-Concerts at the capital of Music-Germany.
In the 70s the old passion for original and still existing steam-engines and miniatur-trains came back.
I don`t make activemusic any more but the fascination for it is still there. To write the "CUX `66-Story" together with Christian Mangels and Erwin Priess has been my central point of interest since 2001. It`s thrilling to get in contact again with all the friends of the 60s!
The most spectacular and impressive event was the reunion of the original "Spacemen" on January 31, 2004.
